Identifying Duplicate Doctors
Not sure how to identify duplicate doctors? Use the PharmaClik Rx Doctor ID. PharmaClik Rx assigns a Doctor ID to each Doctor folder. Shown in Doctor Search, the Doctor ID helps determine which doctors are duplicates and which are simply different addresses for the same doctor
This is not a duplicate doctor...
Bob Smith is listed in the search results three times. Each address has the same Doctor ID. This means Bob Smith has been entered in the database once. He has three addresses entered in his doctor folder.
This is a duplicate doctor...
Jane Doe is listed in the search results two times: both doctors have the same License Number, but different Doctor IDs. Each address has a different Doctor ID. This means the doctor has been entered in the database two different times. This doctor is a candidate for doctor merge -both doctors should be merged into a single doctor folder.
